International Scientific Conference Focuses on the Role of Tajikistan’s Strategic Partnership

DUSHANBE, 02.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – The Academy of Public Administration under the President of Tajikistan hosted an online international scientific and practical conference on the role of strategic partnership of Tajikistan.
The conference was attended by scientists and industry experts from Representative Assembly, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Education and Science, Economic Development and Trade, Culture, the Committee for Tourism Development, the Civil Service Agency, the Center for Strategic Studies, the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, representatives of embassies and other strategic partners of Tajikistan, including Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and Turkmenistan, and specialists from domestic and foreign scientific and educational institutions.
It was noted that in its foreign policy, Tajikistan mainly considers six countries — Russia, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan as strategic partners with whom it has signed agreements on strategic partnership.
Speakers also analyzed and considered a number of issues, including the role of strategic partnerships in the formation of bilateral ties, the versatile relations of Tajikistan with its strategic partners, the phenomenon of strategic partnership as a factor in the development of socio-economic cooperation and the personality of President Emomali Rahmon as the guarantor of the stability of strategic partnerships in international relations.
