DUSHANBE, 21.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – “On the path of the long history of our people, ancient Navruz, along with the Tajik language, created the basis for self-knowledge of Tajiks,” said President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in his congratulatory message devoted to the International Navruz Holiday.
While comparing the importance and role of the Tajik language and Navruz, he noted that if the Tajik language is the custodian of the rich and eternal scientific and literary heritage and historical memory of our people, then the Navruz holiday is the custodian of the living traditions of the people, customs, rituals and national culture.
“In this regard, in order to protect our authenticity, we must always honor these national values of ours and protect them like the apple of our eye. All the necessary prerequisites for this now exist,” President added.
