President Emomali Rahmon Congratulates Maia Sandu on Winning Presidential Election in Moldova

DUSHANBE, 18.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – President Emomali Rahmon congratulated Maia Sandu on winning the presidential election in Moldova.
«Her Excellency, I sincerely congratulate you on your victory in the presidential elections in the Republic of Moldova,» the Tajik leader said in his telegram.
“The results of the past presidential elections are evidence of popular support for the course you have chosen for further sustainable development of the country and strengthening its authority in the international arena. Tajikistan and Moldova are bound by long-standing traditions of friendship, mutual understanding and constructive interaction,” the statement said.
President Rahmon noted that he is confidence that the good relations between the countries will continue to expand and cover new areas of cooperation.
«I am ready to make all necessary efforts with you in this direction,» he added.
Emomali Rahmon wished Maia Sandu good health and every success in her future activities as the head of state, while to the friendly people of Moldova -he wished peace, prosperity and well-being.
