President Emomali Rahmon Thanks Interior Ministry Staff for Dedicated Work in Protecting Interests of State and Public Order

DUSHANBE, 10.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – President Emomali Rahmon congratulated Interior Ministry employees and veterans on their professional day, the Day of Tajik Militia Employees.
“Since independence, the militia employees have been at the forefront of the fight against terrorism, extremism and other forms of transnational organized crime, showing courage and dedication for restoration of the constitutional order, ensuring peace and tranquillity in the society, strengthening public safety, protecting human rights and freedoms, ensuring the rule of law, and have made a valuable contribution to strengthening the prestige of our country on the world stage,” President Rahmon stresses in his message of congratulations posted on the president.tj on Monday.
“When we look at the past history of the Tajik militia, we see the pages full of achievements and self-sacrifices of our glorious sons, patriotic and devoted to their ancient nation. A sense of patriotism, loyalty and honest performance of their official duties is hidden in the hearts of the honorable sons of this body, which in the first years of independence, have subverted the dirty plans and vile intentions of the enemies,” the congratulatory message reads.
“In the path of restoration of constitutional order, strengthening the foundations of the Tajik state, as well as the fight against armed criminal groups more than 2,000 Interior Ministry employees and servicemen has lost their lives. We will always cherish their fond memories,” notes President Rahmon.
“I express my gratitude for the tireless efforts of the staff of the Interior Ministry, who with a strong sense of patriotism and national pride work to protect the interests of the state, public order, the rule of law and the binding orders of the president,» he says.
“I am confident that the Interior Ministry employees will continue to work diligently in the performance of their official duties in the prevention of and fight against crime, ensuring of rights and freedoms, and the rule of law, and will serve the people and the homeland with honor,” President Rahmon concludes.
