Iranian FM Zarif: We Discussed Regional Issues and Afghanistan with President Emomali Rahmon

DUSHANBE, 30.03.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, following the meeting with President Emomali Rahmon, the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif briefed journalists in Dushanbe.
“We had a constructive meeting with the President Emomali Rahmon. We discussed relations between Iran and Tajikistan,” Zarif said.
“We also discussed regional issues and Afghanistan, which will be considered at the Heart of Asia — Istanbul Process Ninth Ministerial Conference,” he added.
Iranian FM Zarif arrived in Dushanbe on March 28 to attend the Heart of Asia — Istanbul Process Ninth Ministerial Conference today.
