Health Minister and Japanese Ambassador Discuss Healthcare Cooperation Development

DUSHANBE, 28.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with the Ambassador of Japan to Tajikistan Takayuki Miyashita.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Tajikistan and the leadership of the Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis.
Abdullozoda expressed gratitude to the government of Japan for support and assistance in the purchase and import of vaccines against various diseases.
Miyashita expressed interest in fruitful cooperation, as well as the development of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Japan, noting in particular that the leadership of the government of Japan is ready to develop cooperation in all areas, especially in health.
Following the meeting, Abdullozoda and Miyashita visited the vaccine storage refrigerators.
