Trade Turnover Between Tajikistan and Belarus Almost Doubled

DUSHANBE, 06.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda met with the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Ivan Krupko.
Zavkizoda noted that in 2020, trade between the two states reached $54.4 million, which is $25.9 million more than in 2019.
The parties discussed the development of trade and economic cooperation, the creation of joint ventures for the production of pharmaceuticals, and the installation of MAZ trucks in the free economic zones of Tajikistan.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
