DUSHANBE, 22.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the US Department of State’s Acting Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asia Dean Thompson, who has a working visit to Tajikistan.
The meeting focused on the current situation and prospects for the development of multifaceted cooperation between Tajikistan and the US.
The parties also exchanged views on current topical regional issues.
They gave attention to the issues of strengthening border protection, joint fight against transnational organized crime and drug trafficking.
