President Emomali Rahmon Opens the Simurg Culture and Recreation Park in the Oksu Rural Community of Danghara

DUSHANBE, 16.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 16, President Emomali Rahmon opened the Simurg culture and recreation park in the Bahor village in the Oksu rural community of Danghara.
The park was built by local entrepreneur Romish Salimov without attracting budget funds as part of the celebration of the upcoming independence’s 30th anniversary and the declared Years of Rural Development, Tourism and Folk Crafts.
Two sports grounds for playing football, volleyball, special tennis courts, a playground for children and teenagers, a youth center, a cafe, a dining room with 60 seats, swimming pools for teenagers and adults, a fish pond, and a special area for cultural events are part of the new park, which also includes 12 modern attractions for the recreation of children.
The territory of the park is completely landscaped with 11,000 unique shady and decorative seedlings, flowers and bushes.
The park also includes 18 large and small fountains, built in a unique architectural style.
The surroundings of the new park are completely fenced off and the entrance gates are also decorated with high architectural art.
After the opening festivities, President Rahmon met with orphans from the cities and districts of the Khatlon region and presented them with school uniforms, financial assistance, and sweets.
During the meeting, Rahmon emphasized that the needy strata of society are always in the center of attention of the government, and all conditions have been created to educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and self-awareness.
