DUSHANBE, 10.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended Tajik – Uzbek Evening of Friendship gala concert hosted in the Kokhi Borbad State Complex.
The concert started with inaugural speeches by the counterparts.
President Rahmon noted that the friendly relations between the two nations must last forever through joint effort. He expressed confidence that the official visit of President Mirziyovev will give an additional impetus to further deepening and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas.
President Mirziyoyev expressed his gratitude to President Rahmon and the people of Tajikistan for the warm welcome and fraternal hospitality extended to him and to the members of his delegation throughout their stay in Tajikistan.
The heads of state also advocated the continuation of the good tradition of friendly ties, brotherhood, neighborliness, kinship and the development of multifaceted cooperation for the benefit of both nations.
Following their speeches, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan masters of art performed their colorful and meaningful program, which glorifies the friendship of the two nations.
