President Emomali Rahmon Arrives in Ashgabat for State Visit to Turkmenistan

DUSHANBE, 03.08.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Turkmenistan on a state visit.
A guard of honor was lined up to meet him at the Ashgabat International Airport decorated with the national flags of the two countries. President Rahmon was warmly welcomed by high-ranking Turkmen officials.
Tajik-Turkmen talks will be held on August 4. President Rahmon and President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov plan to discuss further strengthening friendly relations and multidimensional cooperation between the two nations, as well as major international and regional issues.
Presidents Rahmon and President Berdimuhamedov are expected to sign or witness the signing of important cooperation documents following their meeting.
