Representatives Assembly Speaker to Attend the Inauguration of the Newly Elected President of Iran

DUSHANBE, 04.08.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The parliamentary delegation headed by the Representatives Assembly Speaker Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda travelled to Tehran at the official invitation of Iran to attend the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi.
At the Imam Khomeini International Airport, the Tajik delegation was met by the Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Majlis of the Islamic Council of Iran with the Friendship Group of the Representatives Assembly Jalil Rahimi Jahonobodi and other officials.
During the conversation with Jahonobodi, Zokirzoda noted the purpose of the visit of the Tajik delegation is to further develop inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries, expand bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as to exchange parliamentary experience.
