President Emomali Rahmon Attends Gala Marking 30th Anniversary of State Independence

DUSHANBE, 09.09.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President Emomali Rahmon and Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali attended a gala marking the 30th anniversary of state independence which took place in the Navruzgoh Palace.
The residents of the capital and foreign guests were invited to take part in the event.
President Rahmon offered his congratulations to the residents of the capital and all citizens of the country, Tajik nationals abroad, and guests on the occasion of the sacred holiday of our nation — the 30th anniversary of independence.
This blessed day, which was written in golden letters in recent history of our Motherland, is for our ancient and civilized people the date of restoration of historical justice, i.e, the gaining of an independent national statehood that the Tajik flag waved in the international arena.
President Rahmon stressed that the most important lesson of the difficult years of our people’s life has proved that the realization of the intentions and dreams of every inhabitant of the country, the progress of the state and prosperity of the Motherland is possible only in peace, political stability, and national unity.
Therefore, Tajiks need to be united, to preserve peace and stability achieved at a very high cost, to put national and state interests above all other interests, and to work hard for the prosperity of the Motherland and the development of the state.
The gala included a colorful concert program.
