Tajikistan’s Delegation Participates in the Opening of the General Debates of the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly

DUSHANBE, 22.09.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On Tuesday, the 76th session of the UN General Assembly began its work with General Debates chaired by its newly elected President Abdullo Shahid who is representative of the Republic of Maldives.
The head of the Tajik delegation to the General Debates of the current session of the UN General Assembly is the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin.
It is expected that along with the leaders of the UN member states, President Emomali Rahmon, in a pre-recorded video message, will also represent his views on some important issues.
The UN General Assembly begins its work every year on the third Tuesday of September.
