Investment in Tajikistan’s Fixed Assets Increases by 28%

DUSHANBE, 29.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – More than 11.3 billion somoni (over $1 billion) of investments in fixed assets have been utilized in Tajikistan from all sources of financing for ten months of this year, which is 28% more than the same period last year.
According to the data of the Agency for Statistics, over the specified period, investments in the amount of more than 5.7 billion somoni or 50.6% have been spent on production facilities.
Investments at non-production facilities have been spent in the amount of over 5.6 billion somoni or 49.4% of the total investment.
More than 3.2 billion somoni have been spent in the construction of electric power facilities. The volume of utilized investments in the construction of electric power facilities have decreased by 8.4% compared to January-October 2020.
More than 1.2 billion somoni of investments in fixed assets have been spent for transport and communications.
