Tajikistan and Qatar Expand Business Ties

DUSHANBE, 19.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Expanding business ties between Tajikistan and Qatar for advancing projects related to tourism infrastructure, and for utilizing the economic and transport potential of Tajikistan, which play an important role in strengthening trade and interregional and international tourism, were discussed yesterday by the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development of Tajikistan Tojiddin Jurazoda and the Chairman of Qatar Business Association, who is also serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Faisal Holding Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani.
Jurazoda provided detailed information about Tajikistan’s favorable investment climate and the benefits provided by the government for the effective operation of foreign investors in various economic and social spheres.
According to Al Thani, as Tajikistan is a safe and stable country with great natural resources and extensive production opportunities, it is attractive for investors.
“Qatari entrepreneurs are interested in developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Tajikistan in agriculture, industry, transport, logistics, tourism, and hotel construction,” he added.
The parties noted the importance of holding regular meetings between Tajik and Qatari entrepreneurs.
They also agreed that the Qatar Business Association will send its working group to Dushanbe after studying the package of projects submitted by the Committee for Tourism Development.
