U-15 CAFA Championship Starts in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 19.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the U-15 Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) Championship starts in Dushanbe, reports the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
The national teams of Tajikistan, Iran, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will take part in the championship.
Yesterday, a pre-tournament meeting was held in Dushanbe.
It was attended by the officials of the tournament, commissioners, inspectors of referees, representatives of CAFA, the Football Federation of Tajikistan, teams of Tajikistan, Iran, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting focused on general organizational issues of the championship, the most important points of regulations.
The colors of the teams’ uniforms were also approved.
The championship will be held from November from 19 through November 23. The Director of the Football League of Kyrgyzstan Mikhail Tolkachev and leading specialist of the International Department of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Behruz Ayniddinzoda will serve as commissioners.
Valentin Kovalenko of Uzbekistan and Bakhadyr Kochkarov of Kyrgyzstan will inspect the work of the referees.
The matches will be served by referee teams from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran and Kyrgyzstan. Tajikistan will be represented by referees Abdullo Davlatov, Amirjon Khorkashev, and linesman Sorbon Ahmadzoda.
A total of six matches will be played within the 2021 U-15 CAFA Championship. All matches will be held with spectators at the Dushanbe Central Republican Stadium.
According to the regulations, the championship will be held in a circular system in one round. The winning team will be determined by the most scored points.
