Tajik Judoka Behruz Khojazoda Wins Bronze Medal at the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games

DUSHANBE, 25.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik judoka Behruz Khojazoda (-73 kg) won the bronze medal at the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games.
In the first round, Khojazoda defeated the Filipino athlete Nakano Keisei with the advantage of ippon and advanced to the quarter-finals. In the quarter-finals, he beat Daniyar Shamshaev of Kazakhstan, and in the semi-finals, he lost to Soichi Hashimoto of Japan.
In the competition for the third place, Tajik athlete won over Qing Daga from China with ippon and won the bronze medal.
