President Will Deliver Annual Address to Supreme Assembly Today

DUSHANBE, 21.12.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will deliver his annual address to the Supreme Assembly at the sixth joint session of the National and Representatives Assemblies.
The joint session will be attended by members of the National Assembly and deputies of the Representatives Assembly, Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda, members of the government, the leadership of the Presidential Executive Office, ministries, committees, agencies, central judicial bodies, other law enforcement agencies, the National Academy of Sciences, higher educational institutions, heads of regions, representatives of a number of public associations, diplomatic corps, the media, and others.
President Emomali Rahmon is expected to determine the main directions of the domestic and foreign policy, to speak about the development of the economy, industry, energy, transport, communications, security, law and order, health care, culture, science, education, social protection, youth, sports, tourism, and to set specific tasks for officials.
