Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre Offer Assistance to Tajik Families

DUSHANBE, 18.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan (RCST) and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre of Saudi Arabia signed an agreement to provide food assistance to those in need in Tajikistan on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan.
The agreement was signed by the Secretary General of the RCST Bahodur Kurboniyon and a representative of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre.
According to the signed agreement, the assistance is for more than 9,000 families.
According to the agreement, the assistance will be distributed through the RCST in close collaboration with local authorities of cities and districts.
During the meeting with the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan Waleed bin Abdulrahman Alreshaidan the Secretary General of the RCST Bahodur Kurboniyon informed about the cooperation with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre.
He stressed that the support of those in vulnerable groups is one of the main tasks of the RCST.

King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre of Saudi Arabia has been one of the reliable partners of the RCST since 2016.
