Trade and Economic Opportunities of Tajikistan Presented at the International Exhibition in Saudi Arabia

DUSHANBE, 28.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On February 23-27, the International Trade and Industrial Exhibition was held in Makkah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The exhibition was organized by the city’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Per initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Saudi Arabia, a pavilion of Tajikistan was organized at the exhibition, which presented various domestic products, samples of folk crafts, pictures depicting the beautiful nature of Tajikistan and brochures about the country’s tourism opportunities.
Tajikistan’s pavilion also showcased videos on trade and economic opportunities, its hydropower potential, and the investment climate of the country.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of Makkah Province, the Minister of Trade of Saudi Arabia, heads and representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Saudi Arabia, as well as business and industrial communities operating in the host country.
