Azerbaijan Hosts Oshi Palov Festival Dedicated to Navruz Holiday

DUSHANBE, 29.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Embassy of Tajikistan in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan initiated Oshi Palov festival dedicated to the Navruz holiday in the Gobustan National Historical and Artistic Reserve.
The festival was attended by First Deputy Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Elnur Aliyev, Deputy Aydin Huseynov, Chairman of the Executive Power of Azerbaijan Suleiman Mikayilov, ambassadors of India, Turkey, Qatar, Pakistan, representatives of other embassies, public organizations, and the media.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan Rustam Soli noted that Navruz and other Tajik national holidays such as Sada and Mehrgon are unique phenomena that have played a significant role in the history of the Tajik people for thousands of years.
