New Building of the Regional Directorate of the National Park of Tajikistan in GBAO Opened in Khorug
DUSHANBE, 26.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – During the celebration of the International Holiday of Navruz, a new building of the Regional Directorate of the National Park of Tajikistan in GBAO was opened in Khorug, reports the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of Tajikistan.
The building was opened by Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection Bahodur Sheralizoda and Chairman of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region Alisher Mirzonabot.
The building consists of 2 floors and 8 offices, and built using modern design and elements of national architecture.
Also, the Committee for Environmental Protection handed over more than 600 evergreen trees to the cities and districts of GBAO, which in turn will have a beneficial effect on the environmental situation.
In addition, a Toyota Landcruiser car was donated to the Main Department of Environmental Protection of GBAO for efficient operation.
