New EU Health Development Program for Tajikistan Presented in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 16.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the new EU Health Development Program in Tajikistan for 2021-2025 was presented in Dushanbe.
The new EU Health Development Program for Tajikistan for 2021-2025 was approved by Tajikistan and is being implemented through United Nations agencies such as the United Nations Children’s Fund, as well as the World Health Organization, and the German Society for the Development of International Cooperation.
The guests expressed their views on mutually beneficial cooperation with Tajikistan and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
Along with this, a number of experts presented reports on the new program.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the European Union to Tajikistan Marilyn Josefson, the Ambassador of Germany to Tajikistan Andreas Prothmann, the head of the World Health Organization in Tajikistan Viktor Olsavsky, representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund in Tajikistan Osama Makkawi, head of the German Society for the Development of International Cooperation Natasha Bolman, and program specialists of other foreign organizations.
