Tajik and Indonesian Olympic Committees Develop Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 28.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On March 26 Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan Dilshod Nazarov met with the President of the Indonesian Olympic Committee, Vice-President of the Asian Cycling Confederation Raja Sapta Oktohari who arrived in Tajikistan to attend the Asian Road and Para Cycling Championships.
The meeting focused on issues of development of bilateral cooperation.
Nazarov noted that the government, especially President Emomali Rahmon, pays special attention to the field of sports, due to which international sports facilities have been put into operation in recent years.
“This allowed Tajikistan to host the Asian Road and Para Cycling Championships for the first time,” he added.
The parties agreed to sign a memorandum soon.
Oktohari and his accompanying delegation visited the Museum of Olympic Glory of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan and got acquainted with the achievements of Tajik athletes.
