Azerbaijan Intends to Expand Tourism Cooperation with Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 13.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan and Azerbaijan have come to an agreement to develop and sign a legal act with the aim of further developing cooperation in the field of tourism.
This was discussed at the meeting of the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development Tojiddin Jurazoda with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan Alimirzamin Gavvam oglu Askerov.
The history and rich cultural heritage, rare nature and unique sites of Tajikistan are a solid foundation for the progress of the tourism sector, which is considered a reliable source for the development of the national economy.
The Azerbaijani side expressed interest in strengthening cooperation in the development of various areas of tourism and noted that holding joint events would contribute to the development of tourism.
