Solar Power Plants To Be Built in Sughd and Badakhshon Regions

DUSHANBE, 11.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma and Director General of the Industrial Technology Department of the Korea Institute of Technology Lim Byung Hyuk signed a protocol of negotiations on Construction of solar power plants and energy storage devices in Sughd region and Gorno-Badakhshon Autonomous Region.
The purpose of signing the document is to improve the electricity supply to residents of these regions.
According to the protocol, it is planned to build solar power plants with a capacity of 6 MW and energy storage devices with a capacity of 1 MW/h.
It is planned to build a solar power plant with a capacity of 3 MW with energy storage devices with a capacity of 0.5 MW/h in Sughd region and a solar power plant with a capacity of 3 MW with energy storage devices with a capacity of 0.5 MW/h in Gorno-Badakhshon Autonomous Region.
