President Emomali Rahmon Holds Telephone Talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin

DUSHANBE, 08.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
At the beginning of the conversation, the two leaders exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Russia.
The counterparts spoke about the high level of bilateral relations based on principles friendship and mutual respect.
The officials also praised the process of strengthening ties between the two countries in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, as well as security spheres.
They touched upon certain topics on the international and regional agenda, and the situation linked with the developments in Afghanistan along Tajikistan’s border.
