DUSHANBE, 19.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia are planning to create a logistics hub. This was stated during a virtual conversation between the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir and the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Bandar Alkhoraef.
The logistics hub will increase trade between countries, deliver faster than traditional logistics routes, and diversify goods.
Kabir noted that Tajikistan has sufficient potential for the development of mining, manufacture of textiles, food, cotton, and pharmaceuticals.
A logistics hub is a huge logistics center where the entire range of cargo handling operations is carried out. The construction of large logistics complexes is a trend that has become very popular in many countries around the world. The logopark combines cargo flows with the storage of goods which can be processed and redistributed to other warehouse complexes. Its distinctive feature is the ability to ship products from different modes of transportation.
