Tajikistan Expands Cooperation with a Number of Countries in the Energy and Investment Areas

DUSHANBE, 21.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir held a virtual meeting with the General Director of Engineering Dimension International Investment LLC of Saudi Arabia Muhammad Hiji.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi, partners and representatives of the specified company from US, China, Australia, and Germany.
The meeting focused on cooperation in the production of large and medium-sized electrical transformers, substations and power lines, construction of new large hydroelectric power stations, investment projects for the construction of high-voltage power lines, petrochemistry and processing industry, and cooperation in the field of textile clusters.
In order to implement promising projects, the parties decided to create a roadmap and a working group.
