DUSHANBE, 11.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Turkey Ashrafjon Gulov met with the President of the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey (DEIK) Nail Olpak on April 8 in Istanbul.
The meeting focused on the current state of economic cooperation between the two countries, primarily the trade turnover and the process of attracting direct Turkish investments to Tajikistan, and the initiative of the government of Tajikistan to declare 2022-2026 the Years of Industrial Development.
The parties agreed that investment and trade forums will be organized this year to develop cooperation between the private sector of the two countries, including in the banking and energy sectors.
