Dushanbe Hosts First Meeting of the Permanent Commission on Cooperation between the National Assembly of Tajikistan and the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan

DUSHANBE, 13.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the first meeting of the Permanent Commission on Cooperation between the National Assembly of Tajikistan and the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan was held in Dushanbe with the participation of Rustam Emomali and Maulen Ashimbayev.
The meeting was attended by members of the commission from both sides, as well as senior officials of the Offices of the National Assembly and the Senate of the Parliament.
Initially, Rustam Emomali and Maulen Ashimbayev delivered opening speeches.
Rustam Emomali called important the role of the Permanent Commission in the development and strengthening of fruitful cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
Following speeches of the heads of delegations, the signing ceremony of the Road Map for the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between National Assembly and the Senate of the Parliament for 2023-2024 took place.

Then a meeting of the commission was held under the leadership of its co-chairs — First Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly Rajabboy Ahmadzoda and Deputy Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament Olga Perepechina.
According to the meeting agenda, the participants discussed the approval of the instructions of the Permanent Commission, the main areas of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the National Assembly and the Senate of the Parliament in the sectors of culture, the humanities, trade, economics, investment and migration policy, and made appropriate decisions.
