President Emomali Rahmon Attends Wreath-Laying Ceremony for the Victory’s 77th Anniversary

DUSHANBE, 09.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 9, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame at the Victory Park to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941 — 1945 and paid tribute in memory of the officers and soldiers and all those who gave their lives in the Great Patriotic War.
President Rahmon was accompanied by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali. In honor of Victory Day wreaths were also laid on behalf of the National Assembly and the Assembly of Representatives, the government of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Defense, and law enforcement agencies, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and heads and staff of Dushanbe – based diplomatic missions, and the Russian 201st military base in Tajikistan.
The ceremony concluded with a march by the Guard of Honour of the Dushanbe garrison.
