Embassy of Tajikistan Holds Webinar on the Environment, Water and Energy Issues

DUSHANBE, 30.08.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, per joint initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan to Germany, Delegation of German Economy for Central Asia (AHK), as well as the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), a webinar was held via videoconference titled “Environmental protection technologies with a focus on hydropower and water supply.”
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Imomudin Sattorov, as well as representatives of the relevant ministries and agencies of the country took part in the event and made presentations on the broad opportunities for cooperation in the field of economy and investment.
Sattorov stressed that Tajikistan stands for the expansion of relations with Germany in the field of economy and investment. In this regard, strengthening cooperation in the field of hydropower, renewable energy sources and the implementation of joint investment projects are considered promising areas.
Considering the rich potential of the country, Tajik diplomat called on the participants, representatives of German agencies and influential companies to actively participate in the implementation of priority projects in Tajikistan.
The speakers expressed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation in mutually beneficial areas.
