President Emomali Rahmon Opens Social Facilities in Khujand

DUSHANBE, 12.08.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Continuing of his working visit to Sughd, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited Guliston, where he took part in the opening of Justice Center’s newly constructed building.
During the talks with its employees, President Rahmon emphasized that the specialists of justice bodies should contribute to the effective implementation of state strategies and programs, timely and high-quality services to the population, raising the legal awareness and legal culture of citizens, and promoting positive family engagement.
In Khujand, he also took part in the inauguration of the Khujand City Clinical Hospital No. 1 following its renovation and reconstruction. He also visited the Emergency Aid Station, Medical Oxygen Plant, National Tea House, and a hotel.
The hospital was fully renovated for the first time after 50 years, which is comprised of 72 rooms, equipped for admitting 227 patients.
For this purpose, an online medical consultation center was established for the first time in the Department of Rescue and Anesthesia.
This center was established in order to establish an online link with the clinics of the capital and advanced medical institutions of a number of foreign countries regarding the examination of diagnoses, condition of the patient, course of treatment, and other issues related to treatment and diagnosis through the council.
Khujand City Clinical Hospital No. 1 is one of the main medical institutions in Sughd.
In addition, President Rahmon attended the opening of the Shukufahoi Istiklol Preschool built in Khujand by the local government.
Visiting the newly constructed nine-story residential building, President Rahmon personally handed over the keys to 45 employees of education, healthcare and other social spheres.
Thereafter, President Rahmon met with 100 orphans, from Khujand, Bustan, Spitamen, and Zafarabad and presented them with cash assistance packages, school uniforms and school aids.
