Tajikistan and Azerbaijan Discuss Parliamentary Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 30.08.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Chairman of the Committee of the for International Affairs, Public Associations and Information of the Assembly of Representatives Saidmurod Fattohzoda met with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan Alimirzamin Askerov.
The meeting focused on issues related to relations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan, especially cooperation between the parliaments.
The parties recalled the development of multifaceted relations.
They expressed their interest in expanding inter-parliamentary relations, the need to create a favorable climate for strengthening bilateral trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation using parliamentary mechanisms.
