National Museums of Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia to Sign Cooperation Agreement

DUSHANBE, 06.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – A cooperation agreement will be signed between the National Museums of Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia in the future. These and other issues related to strengthening cultural cooperation were discussed yesterday in Dushanbe by the Director of the National Museum of Tajikistan Zafarsho Ibrohimzoda with the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan Waleed bin Abdurrahman Al Reshaidan.
The meeting focused on the exchange of museum experience, reconstruction and strengthening of unique museum exhibits, development and publication of a register of rare museum exhibits in Tajik and Arabic, organization of temporary exhibitions in Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia, training specialists in the field of repair and conservation, and other important areas.
Reshaidan got acquainted with the rich history and culture of the Tajik people in the exhibition halls of the museum.
