DUSHANBE, 28.10.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent his condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi.
The message reads, in part:
“Excellency,
In connection with the brutal attack on the Shah Cheragh holy shrine in Shiraz resulting in the death and injuring of civilians, I express my deepest condolences to you and relatives and friends of the victims and wish them patience.
We strongly condemn this act of terrorism and underline the necessity for a consistent strengthening of the joint struggle against all manifestations of terrorism and extremism. I ask the Almighty for mercy and forgiveness for the dead and speedy recovery for the injured.»
