DUSHANBE, 05.10.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko.
Matvienko extended her birthday greetings to President Rahmon and wished him good health and further success.
The two sides continued their talks regarding certain issues in Tajik-Russian multifaceted cooperation, including inter-parliamentary ties which play an important role in strengthening and deepening the relations of friendship, strategic partnership, and alliance between the two countries.
While confirming the priority of the consistent development of cooperation with Russia, President Rahmon expressed his confidence that the Tajik-Russian relations will continue to develop in accordance with the fundamental interests of the two countries.
