The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, who is in Dushanbe to take part in a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
The discussion focused on the current state and future prospects of cooperation between the two countries with an emphasis on trade, economy, industry, and culture.
President Rahmon called the long-standing relations between Tajikistan and Armenia an important factor in the consistent development of relations between the two countries.
The implementation of the previously reached agreements, stepping-up of the work of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, and holding the Trade Forum was noted as vitally important.
