President Lukashenko Arrives in Tajikistan for an Official Visit

DUSHANBE, 11.10.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Tajikistan on an official visit.
He was welcomed by the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials at the Dushanbe International Airport.
As part of his visit, the Belarus leader will meet his counterpart Emomali Rahmon for a one-on-one meeting after an official welcoming ceremony at the Palace of the Nation.
It is expected that the leaders will discuss the further development of bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, investment, production, and implementation of joint projects.
Following the meeting, President Rahmon and President Lukashenko are expected to sign various agreements and address a joint news conference. Alexander Lukashenko will also meet with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali and Prime Minister Rasulzoda. A Belarusian-Tajikistan investment forum and exposition of Belarusian products «Made in Belarus,» will take place in the Tajik capital on the sidelines of the visit.
