Attracting Argentinean Investment in the Tajik Economy Discussed in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 24.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 22, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda and the Ambassador of Argentina to Tajikistan Leopoldo Francisco Saores discussed the possibilities of attracting Argentinean investment to the spheres of the Tajik national economy.
The parties exchanged views on expanding bilateral trade cooperation between the countries, increasing foreign trade turnover, creating joint industrial enterprises using advanced Argentine technologies, especially in free economic zones, and establishing cooperation to implement green economy projects.
Proposals were presented to finance the construction of small and medium-sized hydropower plants in Tajikistan, the implementation of priority state projects in the energy sector in the country using Argentinean investment, which was accepted with satisfaction.
