Delegation of Tajikistan Attends Connectivity Conference of the European Union and Central Asia

DUSHANBE, 19.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 18, the first Connectivity Conference of the European Union and Central Asia: “Global Gateway” for Sustainable Development was held in Samarkand, which was attended by a delegation of Tajikistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin.
The event focused on issues related to sustainable connectivity, creating opportunities for expanding and strengthening interregional ties in the areas of digitalization, strengthening transport routes, water-energy and environmental protection.
In his speech, Muhriddin expressed the country’s vision regarding the development of multilateral cooperation and sustainable development within the framework of this mechanism.
