Deputy of Tajikistan’s Parliament Attends Meeting of the Permanent Commissions of the CSTO PA

DUSHANBE, 29.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Deputy of the Assembly of Representatives of Tajikistan Zainuddin Safarzoda took part in the regular meeting of the permanent commissions of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO IPA) on political issues and international cooperation, which was held in Russian St. Petersburg remotely.
The meeting focused on the Draft statement of the CSTO PA on the undesirability of developing biological (bacteriological) and toxin weapons, as well as various other issues.
The meeting participants noted that the cooperation of the permanent commissions of the CSTO PA is carried out in various forms of bilateral and multilateral relations.
It was emphasized that collective activity and exchange of experience in this area will be the only means of ensuring security and peace in the region.
The meeting was also attended by the representative of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan to the headquarters of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States in St. Petersburg Bakhtovar Safarzoda.
