DUSHANBE, 01.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 2, during his working trip to Bokhtar, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, put into operation an enterprise for the production of asbestos pipes — «Bokhtar-shifer» Limited Liability Company.

A new production enterprise in the industrial zone of Bokhtar on an area of 1 ha was built by domestic entrepreneur Dustmurod Majidov as part of the action plan for a worthy celebration of the 35th anniversary of State Independence and the Five Years of Industrial Development.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that this is the first industrial enterprise in Bokhtar engaged in the production of asbestos pipes. The activity of this enterprise is carried out in 2 shifts, more than 30 local residents are provided with permanent jobs and good wages.

The foundation stone of the enterprise was laid in March 2021 by the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, and in a year and a half, the construction was completed at a high quality level.

The company purchased and installed two modern production lines from the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China, where connectors and pipes with a diameter of 90 to 300 mm and a length of 4 meters are produced.

The enterprise has the ability to produce from 500 to 800 pieces of asbestos pipes per day. The production capacity of the enterprise is 260,000 pipes per year, taking into account the demand in the market, it is possible to produce even more products. Manufactured products meet the requirements of international standards in terms of appearance and quality.

For the production of asbestos pipes, high-quality cement from Tajik enterprises is used. 95 percent of raw materials come from Tajikistan, a small part — only 5 percent — is imported from the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to experts in the field, the manufactured asbestos pipes are resistant to heat and cold, their long-term use is guaranteed.

The management of the enterprise pays much attention to quality in the production process and plans to export asbestos pipes to foreign countries along with providing the domestic market in the future.

It should be noted that the industrial zone of Bokhtar has the necessary infrastructure for the construction of small and large industrial enterprises, such as paved roads, power lines, water and sewer networks and other necessary conditions.

Contributing to the implementation of the 4th national goal — the accelerated industrialization of the country, increasing production volumes and, in this context, providing local residents with jobs became one of the main topics of the conversation of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, with the management, workers and specialists of the enterprise. It was emphasized that in the implementation of this strategic goal, our country will achieve even greater economic development, and decent living conditions will be provided to residents.

After getting acquainted with the activities of the enterprise for the production of asbestos pipes -the Limited Liability Company «Bokhtar-shifer», the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, laid the foundation stone for another enterprise of this company.

With the construction of a new enterprise of «Bokhtar-shifer» LLC, in the future, another 20 people will be provided with permanent jobs, the number of employees of this company will be increased to 90 people.
