Tajik FM Muhriddin Meets EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Borrell

DUSHANBE, 18.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today in Samarkand, on the sidelines of the 18th ministerial meeting of the countries of Central Asia and the European Union and the Connectivity Conference of the EU and Central Asia: “Global Gateway” for Sustainable Development, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
The meeting focused on issues of strengthening and expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the EU, as well as the implementation of joint socio-economic projects.
The parties also discussed matters related to security and stability in the region, the situation in Afghanistan, the threat of terrorism and extremism, issues of the international agenda and other topics of mutual interest.
