Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Cooperation in the Fight Against Corruption

DUSHANBE, 21.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia strengthen cooperation in the fight against corruption, reports the country’s Agency for State Financial Control and Fight against Corruption.
This issue was discussed on December 19 in Jeddah at a meeting between the Director of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption Sulaimon Sultonzoda and the President of the Saudi Arabia’s Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority Mazin bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous.
The meeting focused on the state and prospects of cooperation between the two bodies. The parties agreed to regulate interdepartmental relations within the framework of a document on joint cooperation.
They also agreed to create a favorable basis for the further strengthening of relations and cooperation between the two bodies in the fight against corruption.
Sultonzoda is in Jeddah to take part in the first ministerial meeting of anticorruption law enforcement agencies of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
