Tehran Hosts Meeting of the Tajik and Iranian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Cultural and Technical Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 08.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – From December 5 through December 6, Tehran hosted the 15th meeting of the Tajik and Iranian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Cultural and Technical Cooperation.
The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by the Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma, and the delegation of Iran was led by the Minister of Energy Ali Akbar Mehrabian.
The meeting focused on ways to develop and expand bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, investment, science and education, culture, sports, healthcare, water management and energy, television and radio, transport, etc.
Following the meeting, the parties signed the meeting protocol.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Juma met with with the Ministers of Energy and Oil of Iran, as well as held a number of meetings with the heads of major Iranian energy companies.
The meetings focused on the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector.
