Tajik Athlete Aliyev to Fight Against Brazilian Fighter Alves at UFC Fight Night

DUSHANBE, 10.01.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Brazilian fighter Rafael Alves has been chosen as the first opponent of Tajik athlete Nurullo Aliyev at the UFC Fight Night.
The fight will take place on February 26, 2023 in Las Vegas.
23-year-old fighter Aliyev is the first athlete in Tajikistan who got the opportunity to compete in the UFC.
He signed a four-event contract with the UFC in September after defeating American athlete Josh Vick at the Dana White’s Contender Series.
In the case of two victories, he will have the opportunity to sign a contract for four more competitions.
Aliyev has so far held 7 fights, won all of them.
He is the winner of the international competitions such as EFC, AMC Fight Global and Samara MMA Federation.
The 32-year-old Brazilian athlete Alves had 30 fights, recorded 20 wins and 10 losses in his sports work. He is the Titan FC Fighting Champion. This athlete held his first competition in the UFC in 2021 against the representative of Kazakhstan Damir Ismagulov and lost.
