Upcoming Sports Games Discussed at the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 11.04.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The issues of sports games in 2023 were discussed during the next meeting of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.
It was emphasized that the most important events of 2023 are the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou (China), the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Thailand, and other international qualifying competitions in which the Olympic team of Tajikistan will take part.
Participation in these qualifying competitions will give Tajik athletes the opportunity to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Holding the event Running for Pleasure, a promotional event before the Asian Games in Dushanbe, the implementation of the established programs of Olympic solidarity and the Olympic Council of Asia at the proper level were the next task and obligation of the Committee this year.
